Q: Are you a direct workshop or an online retailer?

A: We are authentic bespoke furniture makers crafting every piece by hand to order in our Lincolnshire workshop in Louth. We do not buy in or resell mass-produced imports or flat-pack furniture.

A: Fully bespoke. We make to order any daybed length and width to suit a single or double outdoor mattress. Tell us your mattress size or lounging space and we will tailor the frame perfectly.

A: As standard we supply the solid oak daybed frame with slatted base only. Mattress and cushions are not included so you can choose your own outdoor fabric and comfort level. We can advise on sizes and build bespoke to suit your chosen mattress.

Q: Is it suitable for outdoor use year-round?

A: Yes. Built from solid kiln-dried European oak which is naturally durable outdoors. Finished with outdoor-grade oil, it will weather and silver beautifully over time if left untreated, or can be re-oiled to maintain its warm tone. We recommend covering cushions when not in use.

Q: How should I maintain the oak finish outdoors?

A: Wipe with a soft dry cloth. To maintain the warm oak tone, re-apply outdoor-grade oak oil every 6 to 12 months. If left untreated, the oak will naturally silver to a beautiful weathered patina.
