Delivery Policy

Delivery Policy
Bespoke Rustic Oak present lead time is approximately 8 weeks
1. Scope
This Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed with Bespoke Rustic Oak and forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
2. Delivery Areas
We deliver to mainland England and Wales as standard.
Deliveries to Scotland, Northern Ireland, and offshore locations may be available upon request and will be subject to additional charges.
We reserve the right to refuse delivery where access, location, or logistics make delivery impractical.
3. Lead Times
All Goods are made to order. Estimated delivery time frames, are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to manufacturing, material availability, or logistics. Such delays do not constitute a breach of contract and do not entitle cancellation or compensation for bespoke Goods.
4. Delivery Arrangements
We will contact you once your order is ready to arrange a delivery date.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery is kerbside only (to the nearest accessible point at the delivery address).
5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring:

  • accurate delivery address and contact details

  • safe and adequate access for delivery vehicles

  • sufficient space for unloading

  • appropriate assistance for large or heavy items

You must inform us in advance of any access restrictions, including (but not limited to):

  • narrow roads or driveways

  • stairs or lifts

  • restricted parking or loading areas

Failure to provide adequate access may result in failed delivery and additional charges.
6. Large and Heavy Items
Due to the solid oak construction of our products, items may be heavy and bulky.
You may be required to provide additional assistance to move items safely beyond the delivery point. Delivery does not include installation or assembly unless expressly agreed.
7. Failed or Aborted Deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • customer absence

  • incorrect delivery information

  • undisclosed access restrictions

we reserve the right to:

  • charge for re-delivery

  • recover any additional haulage costs

  • apply storage fees where applicable

8. Risk and Ownership
Risk in the Goods passes to you upon delivery to the agreed address.
Ownership of the Goods remains with us until full payment has been received in cleared funds.
9. Inspection on Delivery
You must inspect the Goods at the time of delivery.

  • Any visible damage or shortages must be recorded on the delivery documentation and reported within 24 hours

  • Any concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours

Failure to notify within these timeframes may affect your ability to claim, without affecting your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
If Goods are significantly damaged, you should refuse delivery and notify us immediately.
10. Delays Outside Our Control
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • severe weather

  • transport disruption

  • supplier delays

  • labour shortages

In such cases, delivery will be rearranged as soon as reasonably possible.
11. Third-Party Couriers
Where delivery is carried out by third-party carriers, we are not responsible for delays caused by the courier. However, we will assist in resolving issues where reasonably possible.
12. Partial Deliveries
We reserve the right to deliver Goods in instalments where necessary. Each delivery shall constitute a separate fulfilment of the order.
13. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Delivery Policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
